Pack Expo East 2020 – Recap

Wexler Packaging Products has wrapped up another successful year at Pack Expo East 2020! We love exhibiting in our hometown and enjoyed meeting all of the attendees who visited us from near and far. In case you missed it, we exhibited at Pack Expo East at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA from March 3-5. We caught the eyes of many in booth #1020, where we filled our 600 square foot booth with banding and linerless labeling innovation.

With the show being so close to our home office, we rotated several members of our staff throughout the show, so attendees were able to get to know even more of our trusted advisors and knowledgeable team members. The event hosted 400 exhibitors and over 7,000 attendees within 100,000 square feet and we connected with dozens of industry professionals looking to improve their packaging processes. And of course, we loved strengthening our relationships with all of the familiar faces we saw at the show.

This year, our booth featured several innovative packaging solutions! Visitors witnessed the ATS US-2000 CL-TS-L in action, bundling small pharmaceutical boxes. This automated cornerline system with turnstation turns products fed into it on their side to arrange the desired stack. The other automated solution we displayed was the Ravenwood Nobac 500. This fast and versatile machine applies various formats of linerless labels to applicable trays. In terms of more compact, mobile solutions, we exhibited a few stand-alone banding systems from the ATS line. First, the ATS US-2100, which is perfect for achieving “Branding with Banding,” with its capability to apply 75mm or 100mm bands to a product, giving companies more band real estate for branding, barcodes, ingredients, recipes, and more. Next is the ATS US-2000 AD 360×260/50, an efficient machine that runs 50mm banding material and caters to several industries. And finally, we showcased the highest model of our ATS Heat Seal line, the ATS MSX 420. This cost-effective, user-friendly and low maintenance machine also caters to several industries and can be compatible with product sizes up to 420mm.
